Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Fabriscope for using the service.

1. Who we are

Fabriscope (the “service”) is provided by Informacijske storitve, Žan Tavčar s.p., Orlek 5A, 6210 Sežana, Slovenia, Registration no. 9596836000, VAT ID SI48494470 (“we”, “us”). These terms apply between us and the organisation that registers for the service (“you”).

2. The service

Fabriscope has two parts, sold together: the Data Catalog, which documents a Microsoft Fabric estate and its lineage, and Report Audience, which shows who can see and who opens Power BI reports. The service connects to your Microsoft tenant through a service principal that you create and control.

The service is read-only: it never creates, changes or deletes anything in your tenant. It reads metadata, code definitions, access grants and audit events — never the rows in your tables or the data in your reports.

4. Trial

A new organisation gets a 7-day trial of both products on up to 40 workspaces (the Business allowance), with no payment details. When it ends, scans stop and everything except the two overview pages is locked until you choose a plan; nothing collected is deleted.

5. Plans, prices and payment

Plans are priced per month by the number of workspaces scanned, as listed on our pricing. Prices are in euros and exclude VAT.

When you choose a plan, we send you an invoice from Informacijske storitve, Žan Tavčar s.p.. Invoices are in euros and payable by bank transfer within 14 days. VAT is charged under EU rules: Slovenian VAT for customers in Slovenia; for businesses in other EU countries with a valid VAT ID, no VAT is charged and the reverse charge applies; customers outside the EU are invoiced without VAT.

We can invoice monthly, quarterly or yearly in advance. A plan runs for the period invoiced and becomes active once payment is received (we may activate it earlier at our discretion). It does not renew automatically: before the period ends we send the invoice for the next one, and paying it continues the plan. If it is not paid, the account locks as described in section 4; nothing collected is deleted.

A plan change takes effect when we apply it. Moving up, we invoice the difference for the rest of the period already paid; moving down applies from the next period. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by e-mail; the new price applies from the first period invoiced after that.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time by writing to info@fabriscope.com, or simply by not paying the next invoice. The plan runs to the end of the period already paid. Refunds are covered by our refund policy. When you disconnect your tenant, the data collected from it is deleted.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use the service to access tenants you are not authorised to administer, to test or circumvent its security, or to resell it without our written agreement.

8. Availability and support

We work to keep the service available and to fix faults promptly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Support is by e-mail at info@fabriscope.com.

9. Liability

The service documents what your tenant's code and metadata show; its lineage and access findings support your decisions but do not replace them. To the extent the law allows, our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid for the service in those 12 months, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; we will tell account admins by e-mail at least 30 days before a material change takes effect.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Slovenia. Courts in Ljubljana have jurisdiction, without affecting the rights of consumers under the law of their country.
